Mozart and Classical Period

'Dies Irae' from Mozart's Requiem has been used in many films throughout History. This is a good example: the opening scene from 'X-Men 2'.

The expression 'Dies Irae' comes from Latin, meaning 'The day of wrath'.

  2. I think the "Requiem" is an interesting mystery and also why Mozart died writing it 🎵

    1. Yes, I agree with you, it is a real mistery and we don´t know how much was composed by him. I think he did the half of it, as it is a real masterpiece and his student and very good friend Süssmayr finished the work after is death with some cuotes given by Mozart himself.
